This August, give your child the best of both worlds — a summer camp that energizes the body and mind! From August 11–22, Dash Sports and Young Engineers Oakville are teaming up at Forestview to deliver a one-of-a-kind STEM + Sports Summer Camp that fuses engineering, math and sports in the most fun and engaging way possible.
What’s in Store:
🧠 Interactive STEM Sessions
Each day, kids will participate in interactive engineering projects led by the Young Engineers team. Campers will explore hands-on activities using LEGO-style building block, motors, gears, and tablets to build models like race cars, motorbikes, target baskets, egg-painting devices and more. Along the way, they’ll learn real engineering concepts like friction, gear ratios, and transmission — all while building confidence and creativity.
⚽ Engaging Sports & Movement
After each STEM session, it’s time to move! Campers will rotate through multi-sport sessions including soccer, basketball, volleyball and tennis, designed by Dash Sports coaches. These sports promote physical activity, teamwork, and coordination, in a friendly, safe environment.
🎯 Weekly Themes & Activities
Each week features a special theme (Transportation and Arts & Crafts) and fun activities that keep kids engaged and active.
